20th Century experienced leadership and beyond - Nu Leadership Series

Who are the key founders of the modern day theory of leadership? Throughout this article, we will take a walk down memory lane and see these great heroes. Through this process, we achieve two goals, they must learn the thought leadership and developed the transition and to find out how it influenced the thinking of leadership prevalent today. We take this trip. The following are the major contributors of thought leadership in the 20 st century and beyond:

James MacGregor Burns (1918 -), a Pulitzer Prize-winning presidential biographer, is a pioneer in the study of leadership. His theory of transformational and transactional leadership has been the basis of more than 400 doctoral theses. During this time, Burns challenged scholars to abandon the leader focused model studies of leadership and focus on common goals held by leaders and followers. His research challenges even the concepts of leadership in the academic community Company, as well as America.

Peter Drucker (1909 -2005), a renowned consultant, has gained international recognition in the business world and academia during the second half of the 20 st century. In 1960, he developed a concept called 'Management by
Objectives. " Drucker was a lawyer for teamwork and highly critical of business leaders. Drucker "in your face" approach to contest the headship company to rethink their approach to lead their organizations.

Gary Hamel, chairman of Strategos and Director of Woodside, is one of the most influential thinkers of the Western world and provides management team with unconventional strategies that give a competitive advantage. He is currently working with renowned thought leaders through its Institute for solving the world's toughest business problems.

Peter Senge, a senior professor at MIT, has provided guidance in the academic and business community, introducing the theory of learning organizations. His areas of interest focus on decentralizing the role of leadership in organizations to improve the ability of employees to work more efficiently. Today, its management strategies are implemented at national and international.

In conclusion, these legends of the 20 th century were disinterested to give their contribution to society and the progress of thought leadership. We owe them thanks a lot in this effort.
