Nike Heart Rate Monitor and Polar introduce


Nike and Polar, the leader and pioneer in the technology used to monitor heart rate while playing sports, has introduced the Polar WearLink +. This new product works with Nike + iPod Sport Kit and Nike + SportBand, allowing runners to train and millions of your heart rate monitor in a much more effective.

This new product is used like other heart rate monitors from Polar, which are placed around the chest and transmits the heart rate wirelessly, but this time it transmits the Nike + SportBand or iPod Sport Kit This will allow users to improve the experience you have in training, helping them to understand that both are working and what improvements are having. Users can see the beats per minute while training and then can transfer the total information nikeplus.com web service.

The new Polar WearLink + that works with Nike + is also compatible with most Polar training computers, which use the transmission technology of 5 kHz. This enables the Nike + system, working simultaneously with the Polar training computer. Similarly, the gym equipment that are compatible with Polar products will be compatible with this new product. Also, this new product is compatible with fifth generation iPod nano and Nike + iPod Sport Kit

The Polar WearLink + that works with Nike + technology will be available in the U.S. during the month of June and then begin to come out in other markets initiated by Canada and major European countries at the beginning of July.
