Christmas greetings

The biggest beneficiaries of the Christmas cards this year, postal officials are. Sending traditional cards has plummeted, so less work for them. I guess that post-peak is due to the economic crisis. One symptom: those public institutions that sent before christmas pretentious, gold embossed, printed in five colors and worth a Paston, at this time have settled sober flyer signed by the shift boss. Well, the same as those savings banks that plunged into unwanted mergers are now saved to the typical wall calendar for other years. This, I say, what the crisis is only a partial explanation for the lower Christmas mail. Because there are others. The main Internet.

Postcards fill, if only to help Unicef, Intermón, Manos and other charities in the background is a pain, because you have to do one by one, unless you go to the printer or have a Superguay laser printer, as they say now. In other words, we prefer to congratulate the neighbor via computer through emails. This offers many advantages, of which only lists a few. For example, a single generic text for a lot of receivers, who will receive it immediately, after having pressed the appropriate key on the computer. Most lists can also incorporate all kinds of cartoons, drawings, music, animations, videos, ... so that the receiving congratulations goes from being the mere ritual of yesteryear now become quite a spectacle. To those others less gifted of computer literacy as a server, or more vague, which is my case, we simply copy the best cards received and forward as if it were our own, which were like a king. You see how Christmas has changed. The other major change, as I remember a friend, is that the religious overtones to these parties have plummeted: "There is almost no difference as Christmas or Carnival?, Tells me in an e-mail.

As is also true.
