Coach Of The Road

There are ex-players with a great sporting history and a number of them when they retire want to continue his football career as a coach, so far all right. What does not seem as logical as these former players is that however good they were, for many titles they have won many international matches or who have played, want to become the overnight in elite coaches.

While it is clear that the whole experience on the ground game on their many years of professional practice will serve them in the future to work on the bench, but all in due time. As a player may have been a real crack, you've been at the top of the step, but when you leave and you become your status as coach is different, so you have to go down stairs and get in line. This ought to know some ex-players of prestige that have not yet learned to accept his new situation.

Being a coach is quite another to be a player and only with the experience of being a footballer is worth. You have to study, prepare, must know how to handle all the threads of a very difficult profession in which the coach and director of a group of people must know how to handle situations very committed, both human and sporting.

Not enough to know football, learning and development are very broad and cover many subjects in which the technician must demonstrate a knowledge indispensable for the exercise of his profession, and that does not mean that the level of preparation to ensure success or much less, we know that the ball is whimsical, but certainly the coach prepared and provided good store of knowledge is more likely to succeed.

It's funny to listen to a player (avoid names) that recently retired and is perfectly able to train in first division, without ever having coached a team or fry. More humility, please! and more respect for other coaches who have no name, but if many years of experience in office and the bench and have long waiting for their chance.
