Spiritual Development: Learning From Babies

THE BOOK OF ZOHAR EST? Designed to lift, grade by grade, level M? S TOP OF OUR EXISTENCE, PROVIDED THAT WE READ WITH THE APPROACH TO DESCRIBE Anything, refers to our inner qualities and not what appears to us as objects or events in our external world. How can we then find in us those inner qualities that the book describes, IF WE HAVE NOT THE SAME, AND, THEREFORE, DOES NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT WE READ?

* For the Rav Michael Laitman

We are like babies who do not know what world they live, but they know they are in the tender hands of his mother and their families who provide everything needed for growth. The baby needs only want to grow, and nature, and it fulfills the desire.

In our world, animate-body level, this desire to grow and is in us naturally, as in less developed grades of inanimate nature, and the growing season. But if we begin to grow at the human-in-spirituality, the desire has to come from us.

This means that we have the desire to grow, to develop our longing for spirituality, beyond all bodily desires (food, sex, family) and social desires (wealth, fame, power and knowledge), before we can make a step forward. This process begins with what is called the "point (of spirituality) in the heart?, A desire as small as a preliminary point. But our job is to continually push to grow.

To do this, we need an environment that provides the desire to further develop this point, because it is an initial desire itself is not strong enough to push yourself to spiritual development. And as we all have our origin in a single system in which we used to be interconnected as a single organism, from the beginning of creation, we can use the influence of others upon us.

In other words, if people begin to appreciate my environment, spirituality and love of neighbor granting his desire for me to influence the internal connection between us, although I did not perceive it-to the point that I get to feel his desire for spirituality and my own desire.

Once armed with this desire to grow beyond this world, and we have the momentum that we, as infants in spirituality, we need to activate the evolutionary us. And this is how we come to The Book of Zohar, and began to read.

The Book of Zohar was written from the maximum degree of spiritual development, and as such, it includes all the different stages of growth. Hence, to take advantage of this medium, we must read it with the desire to find our next step in his evolution, want to feel it and live it, like the baby in our world, without knowing how it should be in its next stage of development , has the momentum to grow. This is all we need for reading.

And if in any case, we feel disconnected from the Book of Zohar during the reading, is a clear sign that we have not received our environment, the desire for spiritual development. If, on the contrary, we got it, we literally flying high, and satisfy the Zohar as water in the desert.

The Zohar has a great influence on us even though we do not understand. Well, Rabbi Moshe Chaim described Sadilkov Ephraim, grandson of the Baal Shem Tov: "The sacred language of the Zohar is fit for the soul, though you do not understand what he reads, as a person who enters a perfumery, although leave without buying nothing, however, is affected by the good scents?.

Therefore, we have to do but want to grow, as a baby instinctively wants to be great. Try to calm him, tries to convince him not to let it stop growing or demand it. Impossible. We can not stop it, then, nature development pushes with a force second to none.

This is how we work tirelessly in our internal search of spirituality, with a perpetual enthusiasm for continued growth. If we do, indeed, we will. This is the only condition and all that is required of us.

The spiritual operating system already exists. We just have to put up with our desire, our spiritual aspiration, such as a power tool composed of multiple components (our souls) only needs to be plugged into the mains (the general force of nature) to begin work.

Without this inner drive from us, the system will have no effect on us. Or more precisely, will influence us through suffering, to wake up, but can not really move in this way. The pain only encourages us to want to develop, but the real breakthrough only occurs as a result of our own desire. And suffering is just an indication that we have not yet acquired the desire to develop.

Turns out, everything depends on the environment, as we explain the Kabbalists. The system exists, the media, books and teachers, and are, as the atmosphere that awaits a new baby to give you everything you need to grow. All that remains in our hands, is to enter the correct environment and allow it we instill the desire to achieve our purpose in life: to develop our souls to re-unite with each other and with the Force that created them.
